Oak Room
When the Park Lane's original builder,
Sir Bracewell Smith, visited the Old Reindeer
Inn at Banbury, Oxford, he fell in love with
the features of the Inn's 13th-century
Globe Room and replicated it in the Oak Room
on his return. The intricately carved ceiling
is listed, and the original oak panelling
and fireplace create a warm and traditional
1,100-square-foot room that comfortably
accommodates 80 people theatre-style
or 120 for cocktails.
